I am a retired minister who busies himself writing various blogs regarding Christianity (Spiritual Food for Thought), disaster relief, weather and politics (mercyman53) and cutting edge commentary on current events (truth be told). I do not write what people want to hear, I write what I feel is right and real as well as what I believe based on the Bible and experience. I only try to make people think instead of simply sitting back and accepting what they hear as automatically true. Enjoy.
Hi I am retired as well Technical work but have been in churches for 40 years was retired 12 years ago. Christians should not retire but refire for there is much to do for the kingdom of God, at our door step and around the world, I have a focus in Africa amoungst poor and uneducated. There is much need every where you look. I was in LA 2 years and saw the poor and rejected and needy there and was shocked to see this in a developed country you expect it in the third world but not in the first world. Now I am retired I have much more time to be involved in the ministry of the kingdom.
So bless you and blog on do what ever your hand find to do and do it for the LORD he is faithfull in all things
